The game began with many perks,
as Austria, Russia, and I allied against the Turks.
As we initially made progress,
the Sultan showed much distress.

Alas neither of my allies liked to talk,
leaving me to try and find another ally to stalk.
France then hurled fleets through territory we DMZed,
leaving me most displeased.

My allies were conquered by division,
and encountered my derision.
I thought I convinced France back onside,
but he tricked me with a big lie.

With my allies imploding
and my fleets exploding,
I reached out to an emerging Pez
and pleaded loyalty to his Fez.

I then wrote an untoward note towards France,
and he handled it so well it made me blanche.
As a janissary all I could do was survive,
although regrettably I failed to thrive.

Well done Turkey, France, and Britain!
Each of you had a result that was fittin’
But Davide deserves most of the praise
for figuring out how to turn enemies into slaves.
