S05/F05 Negotiations

So depressing, but predictably depressing, which makes it even worse. England, knowing that Italy was vacating Mao, took the Mao, and stranded my fleet in the Irish Sea. Fair’s fair. I lied to him before, and he lied with me now. It’s even 1-1. At this moment, I am done for in this game. Italy cannot be rescued, England is around my back, and it’s going to take a real effort to get out of this hole. I don’t even try to blame England, but Italy is upset:

No response from England, not that it would matter. Italy sends me more long press, which basically says that Austria is not interested in peace with him. Italy writes me:

I reach out to Germany to try and explain what happened. I have to keep Germany with me, and I’ve been loyal to him the entire game.

At this point, I’m despondent.
